Grateful for Dancing
I have been a ballroom dancer since 1994. My husband is a ballroom dance instructor. Today he told me he has been asked to participate in 6 performances each week and he wants me to dance with him!I am grateful for the opportunity to dance with my husband. I am also grateful for the opportunity to make money doing this! Since I am self employed, I can rearrange my schedule easily. My husband teaches out of the studio at Aloha Roses & Flowers. They teach Hawaiian dance there and they do many performances all over San Antonio. These performances will be like a dance variety show with a magic act included, among other things. I am really excited. Al told me we can choose the dances we want and we'll do four during the performances. My favorite dance is still the Cha Cha, so I'd want that on the list. We do a beautiful waltz and rumba. I'm not sure what the fourth dance should be; we know so many. I figured we could vary them often. This will be so much fun. I am so grateful for this opportunity!
Gratitude for my Accountability Partners
I joined an Accountability Partner group in February. We've met twice so far and the energy is great! We tell each other our goals and talk about how we plan to accomplish them. If we're stuck, we talk about how to move forward. We meet every two weeks. At each meeting we talk about the goals we've accomplished and give each other encouragement and feedback. I am grateful for the group, which is just three of us. We meet on the phone, because we live in different states. I am grateful for technology and for Casey Truffo because otherwise, I would have never met my new Accountability Partners.Casey Truffo is a coach who helps therapists build their practices. I joined her Exclusive Membership last year and I met several interesting people through the membership. I am grateful for Casey.
Grateful to Be Alive
I am grateful for my health. I am so glad to be alive, surrounded by people I love and people who are interesting to be around. I enjoy the work I do with my clients and I'm grateful they allow me to participate in their growth journey. Life is good.
Gratitude for My Colleague
I am grateful for my friend and colleague, Donna Martin, a fellow therapist I met when I was still in graduate school. She was a supervisor to me when I worked as a practicum student at Youth Alternatives. She is now in private practice, working with parents and teens, helping people develop successful relationships.
Donna is a person I enjoy being around and she is an excellent therapist. I'm glad I know her and I am grateful to have her as a friend! If you want to learn more about Donna, you can go to www.donnajmartin.com. Tell her I sent you!
Gratitude for a Loving Husband
I'm so grateful for my husband. He has spent many years on his personal growth and I have benefited from his journey. I, too, am learning and growing. I'm in the process of becoming the person I want to be. I appreciate his attitude, which he says is much calmer than it used to be.
I think maturity is a life-long process. Some people just grow older, but do not become more mature. It is my hope that you are also on a growth path, learning to live an Aware Life. Yes, you'll make mistakes and so will I.
The great thing about it is that you are willing to acknowledge your mistakes, take responsibility for your behavior, and get back up again onto the Growth Path. I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments about this!
Take care, Michelle, Happy Relationship Coach
Grateful for a Reliable Car
Today I express my gratitude for my reliable car. I have no car payments; my car is a 1999. I keep it maintained and it gets me where I need to go. I am grateful for my abundance.
Grateful for My Ability to Learn
Today I am grateful that I have a curious brain. I like learning new things. I like to talk with people who have ideas that challenge me. If I only talked to people who agreed with me, I'd soon stop growing and learning. It's good to hear different points of view. I am grateful for the ability to learn. I'm grateful for people who teach me new things every day.
Attract Prosperity by Focusing on Gratitude
If you want to change your life and attract health, wealth, and success in your relationships, begin by focusing on what you are grateful for right now. You can live your dreams. Begin by being grateful. Here are some ways to begin:Rewrite your life script:
o Keep a gratitude journal
o Carry a gratitude stone in your pocket
o Notice what is going right each day
o Find a Gratitude Partner You can do what I'm doing and begin a Gratitude Journal. Each day write something you're grateful for. Your attitude will shift as you focus on what you appreciate.A small stone or other small token that you keep in your pocket can be used as a reminder to think about gratitude and to give thanks for the abundance in your life. If you focus on what is going right, rather than on what is going wrong, you will notice that your day is more pleasant and thinks that used to annoy you are nothing more than background noise. Some people have a Gratitude Partner, with whom they share their grateful thoughts for the day. I think it's a great way to start the day and it helps you keep the good feelings going. I hope you'll try out these ideas and let me know how they work for you! Michelle
Grateful for the Rain
It has been a rainy day, both this afternoon and again into the night. We have needed rain here in San Antonio, Texas. Last year we had a drought and the grass in the yard died with the once a week watering we were allowed to do.
I am grateful for the rain. The sound is musical. In fact, the wind blows through my windchime that my Mother gave me for my birthday a few years ago. It has a beautiful sound and I can hear it while I sit at the computer. Thank you for the beauty of nature and the gift of rain!
