Grateful for My Husband's Health and Healing

Just over two weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his kidney. The doctor decided the kidney must be removed as soon as possible. We have a surgery date on April 30. For Al, it's been a hard two and a half week wait. He has been feeling increasingly ill and tires easily.

I am grateful for the support and prayers and well-wishes of so many people who learned about Al's health. I am thankful for friends and family. I have been focusing on Al's health and healing. I am thankful for his ability to heal. I am grateful for top-notch surgeons who will remove the kidney and all traces of the cancer (which they say has not spread outside the kidney). I am grateful for Al's perfect heatlh.

I created some hypnosis CDs for health and restoration and for preparation for surgery. He has been listening to them and he said they help him get to sleep. I am thankful for such a wonderful man in my life and I'm so glad we got the diagnosis so we can continue his healing journey!

Thank you to all of my friends and family who have been keeping Al in your thoughts and prayers. I love you all, Michelle

Grateful for My Husband's Health

I am grateful for the time I am able to spend with my husband. On April 11, 2007 he had a CAT scan that found a tumor in his kidney. He is scheduled for surgery to remove the kidney on April 30.

I am grateful for the prayers and positive thoughts so many of you are sending our way. I am grateful for Al's dance student, Dr. Mary, who recommended the specialist who has been working with him. I am grateful for the skill of the surgeons who will operate to remove the kidney with the tumor.

I am grateful for my ability to help my husband prepare for the surgery with some herbal immune stimulators from Nature's Sunshine and Juice Plus. I am grateful for such a wonderful husband and I'm grateful for his ability to heal. Thank you. Thank you.

Seven Things I am Grateful for Today

I truly believe that since I've been focusing on what I am grateful for, I find that I am happier and I have less need to complain. I hope that you, too, have found this to be true in your life.

Deciding to be grateful for your loved ones can bring about a new appreciation for them. Notice the little things your spouse (or partner or family member) does. Focus on these things and remember them the next time you are tempted to complain, criticize, or nag. You'll find it harder to utter a negative phrase if you are focusing on what you like.

Today I am grateful for:
1. My loving husband
2. My family
3. A career that brings me joy and satisfaction
4. My growing knowledge of technology (self-taught, mostly!)
5. My 17 year old cat
6. New clients I meet everyday who allow me to journey with them as they learn to live more fulfilling lives
7. My circle of friends who encourage me in my professional and personal growth

Now it's your turn. Think of seven things you are grateful for today. I'm sure you can do it! I wish you joy and wellness and a day full of gratitude. Until next time, Michelle
